Content Delivery Options
- In-class training: The traditional delivery format of PECB Training Courses that take place in a classroom with a PECB Certified trainer. This format allows a better and more “human” trainee experience as well as a better learning experience.
- Virtual Class training: TThe PECB Certified trainer delivers the training through an online platform to the trainees. The advantages of this training delivery format are that you can reach potential clients in a wider geographical scope and have trainees from all US territories in your class while reducing drastically logistical costs (no classroom needed, no travel costs, etc.).
- Self-study: There is no PECB Certified trainer in this format, the trainee receives training materials, exercises/correction keys, and case studies. The candidates study by themselves and sit for the exam when they are ready within the year.
- eLearning: This format is an advanced format of self-study that allows an enhanced customer experience with a full learning experience without the need for a class-led course. The trainee is provided with training materials, exercises/key corrections also with pre-recorded video sessions of PECB Certified trainers delivering the training courses.
Exams
- Essay type and multiple choice: PECB Traditional exam type is an Essay type, however, the pandemic accelerated the transition to the multiple-choice exam as a global trend at PECB as well. The crucial advantage of a multiple-choice exam beyond the fact it allows more objectivity on the exam correction is that the correction can be done as soon as possible if it is an online exam and so can the trainee receive his results more rapidly.
- Paper-based exam: This format requires you to have a registered invigilator and organize the exam at your office.
- Online exam: Online exams are scheduled directly by the trainees at any time they prefer from whatever place they want. This format allows more autonomous scheduling of the exam by the trainee and a faster correction and results in delivery by PECB while partners bear no cost of organizing the exam.
