The guidelines should include providing suitable equipment and storage, defining authorized work and access to systems, training for remote workers, secure communication equipment, physical security measures, support and maintenance, insurance, backup and continuity procedures, audit and security monitoring, and revoking of access rights when remote work is terminated.
